2. Landal De Lommerbergen

Landal De Lommerbergen is located in one of the most beautiful places on the Maas river in Limburg. 4. Searching the Dragon

‘Draaksteken’ is an open-air theatre show, performed once every seven years by the residents of the village Beesel. The next Draaksteken show will take place in the summer of 2023. In the mean time there is plenty to discover about the ‘Draaksteken’. The village Beesel lives and breathes the story of Saint George and the Dragon. Visitors are welcomed by the dragon at the roundabout outside the village. You can take a walk through the centre of the village, past some important places in the history of Draaksteken. 5. XBAZE Jump Arena

A trampoline park for young and old, from starting jumper to professional free runner. XBAZE has several entertainment areas where you can take on the challenge with gravity. 6. Castle community Brüggen

Beesel maintains a good relationship with the near by German village of Brüggen. Its castle, watermill and traditional architecture add to the special charm of this village. It was the most important castle in the north of the Duchy of Jülich, built in 13th century. Today part of the castle house is a hunting and natural history museum. 7. Distillery

Various crafts men are active in Beesel. There is a tasting room where you can try various liqueurs and spirits distilled in the nearby distillery. Receipes forthese liqueurs are formulated and improved by Willem Veldman in cooperation with local producers. 8. Cindy Heldens (Ceramist)

Clay is an important raw material in our region. This clay is used in the ceramic industry for centuries. Cindy Heldens organises workshops in the field of alternative firing techniques and throwing on the pottery wheelin her studio in Beesel. Suitable for beginners and advanced clay lovers. 9. (not only) Just for children: Drakenrijk and Toverland

BillyBird Park Drakenrijk offers its visitors the total beach experience. The park consists of a lake, with a sandy beach and a lovely sunbathing meadow.
